  Working Principles
Click to ViewThe Eddy covariance measures the vertical flux of heat, water or gasses. Flux is calculated as a covariance of instantaneous deviations in vertical wind speed (Uz) and instantaneous deviations in the entity of interest. This method relies on the prevalence of the turbulent transport and requires state of-the-art instruments.
