  Working Principles
Click to ViewOrganic material is digested by heating sample in the presence of concentrated nitric acid up to a temperature of 180-200 C in a microwave field. This destroys all organic matter present in the sample and minerals are solubilized. This solution is used for estimation of minerals by atomic absorption spectrometry or ICP-OES
