Instrument Details
Instrument/Facility Name: Near Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy
Make                                   : FOSS
Model                                  : DS2500
Specification   :

Click to ViewUses optical Near Infrared (NIR) technology across the full wavelength range of 850 to 2500 nm for direct measurements of grain, feed and forage samples in ground or ungrounded form.

  Working Principles
Click to ViewNear infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is based on the absorption of electromagnetic (EM) radiation at wavelengths in the range 780 to 2,500 nm. The light interacts with the sample and the detector measures its transmittance and absorbance.

  Applications
  User Instructions
Calibrations for parameters such as Fat, Protein, Moisture, Ash, Starch Crude Fiber, Amino Acids, NDF, ADF and more. Rapid estimation through non-destructive sampling after calibration.NIRS- DS2500 F Manual to be followed. Calibration of samples required.
