  Working Principles
Click to ViewDouble beam spectrophotometer instrument is used to determine the amount of light of a specific wavelength absorbed by an analyte in a sample. A beam of light from a visible and/or UV light source is separated into its component wavelengths by a prism or diffraction grating. Each monochromatic (single wavelength) beam in turn is split into two equal intensity beams by a half-mirrored device.

  Applications
  User Instructions
For measurement of elements such as P, Mo, B in soil, plant, water, manure, fertilisers etc. It is also used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins. It has third dimension spectrum utility for sample analysis. Also possess various operational modes as standard – Photometric; Spectrum; Quantitation; Kinetics, Time Scan, DNA and Protein Quantitation in standalone and PC mode. All samples should be homogenous. Samples should not be toxic or hazardous. Samples are to be filtered properly. Samples can be prepared as per standard protocol.
